ABOUT THE FOUNDER
I am a change weaver and thought leader, doing on the ground work through facilitation, community-based research, and deep reflection
I see myself at the intersection of the world that we want to move toward, and the world that we currently live in. My mission is to bring us closer to a new way of living, while not losing sight of what we have learned and mastered as humans. My vision is to build systems for belonging, with deeper connections ourselves, other humans, the web of life, and the land.
I have been told I have a “gentle power”. I am unyielding in both my compassion and my ambition for shifting the way the world looks. I work to summarize complex ideas in an accessible way, getting to the heart of the matter and staying out of the weeds. I balance “moving at the speed of trust” with identifying tangible next steps.
I have been leading evaluation, research and strategy projects for two decades. I focus on supporting initiatives and organizations with outcomes that are complex, ambitious or long-term. I have a particular passion for understanding how to work in relationship, including evaluating process and outcomes of collaborative projects.
Striving for a life that feels more connected, compassionate, meaningful and sacred…
I am actively living the questions of how we can live and work in radically different ways. I believe that community and relationship are the clearest way forward to a new way of living. I have been involved in several grassroots communal living projects, and organize Belonging Gatherings in my home in the Cowichan Valley.
My other facets involve being a musician, mother, dancer and lover of tarot. I have attended and created festivals since I was very young, and feel we can learn a lot from them about how to bring celebration and collaboration into our lives.
